And none of these would do for a sports enthusiast/outdoorsman. I was hoping for some variety...but all these are for 'preppy' or chic (as the article calls them) guys...unhelpful!

Seriously, this stuff is for the Scott Disick metrosexuals of the world. We're talking about real men. If I gave my guy anything from this list, he'd look at me like an alien.

I got my husband a Star Wars lightsaber diagram shirt. Not as pricey as the items mentioned but I know he'll enjoy it more.

I got mine a lightsaber replica - this stuff (above) is way too chic... and there's no way i would spend $125 on three pairs of undies! lol

This article was just unrealistic for a lot of people. Not only product wise but price wise as well.

These remind me of the catalogs on airlines: way too expensive, not really useful and apparently designed for people with way too much money and way too many possessions.

Um... who can afford this stuff? An $80 notebook? No way! Plus I don't think I know any guy who would want this stuff?!

Try again! And think practical please. $20-$40 is more reasonable!

Look at some of those prices? I love JCrew as much as the next gal, but you gotta be f*ckin high to spend $45 on a tshirt.

Wow, they should just call the article 12 valentine day gift for him if he's a pretentious A-hole!!! Who really thought this crap would make a good gift?

...said no guy ever. I'm a gamer, I wear old spice, T-shirts from metal bands and I find all of this stuff ridiculous. If my wife bought me any of this stuff I would seriously doubt our marriage hahaha.

A paperweight? Nothing says "I have no idea what to get you" than an overpriced paperweight. Get him a copy of "Room Four" its funny, snarky, and the best odd-couple friendship story about 2 guys I've read in a while.

I have to admit, as a 23 year old gay man a few of these are nice to have, or I do have stuff like a journal like that or the art of shaving kit, but I wouldn't want to receive any of these gifts as a f***ing valentine's day gift lol.

There is nothing romantic about them, and more $$$ doesn't necessarily make it more intimate. And yes it seems the products offered cater to one demographic of men... more recognizably mine in my opinion which makes this a useless article for most.

That said, I'm not even a fan of Valentine's Day. It's overrated. I buy my special someone something that I know he'd absolutely enjoy once in a while year-round, when i see it, just because its a nice surprise.
